Casual Labourer / Plant Operators x 1
McKinlay Shire Council seeks to employ a capable and reliable Labourer / Plant Operator, on a casual basis. Applicants should possess the skills to undertake required manual duties associated with road maintenance and construction. These duties will be performed within the operation of Council’s Works Department under direct supervision. Administration Officer (Reception)
McKinlay Shire Council is seeking a motivated person with excellent interpersonal skills, who can demonstrate the ability to communicate with all members of the community. This position will be the first point of contact for visitors to the Council office and is designed to undertake general administration duties including responding to incoming correspondence via telephone and email, processing of daily mail, and providing administrative and secretarial support as required to Council staff. Casual Pool and Leisure Officer
McKinlay Shire Council is seeking an active and enthusiastic person to take on the role of Casual Pool and Leisure Officer, working at the Julia Creek Swimming Pool. Council requires an individual to provide pool management and lifeguard relief and assistance towards the provision of aquatic activities to community members. The successful applicant will be expected to work for approximately two - four days each fortnight during the winter pool hours, with more hours in the summer period.
