Casual Labourer/Plant Operator

McKinlay Shire Council is seeking an experienced motivated person to join our Works Department in the position of Casual Labourer/Plant Operator

The successful applicants MUST hold a Construction Induction Card, current drivers licence and possess operator tickets or be able to demonstrate competency. They will also be a punctual and reliable worker that exhibits the skills to undertake maintenance and associated duties, within the operations of Council's Works Department under direct supervision.

Grader Operator

McKinlay Shire Council is seeking an experienced motivated person to join our Works Department in the position of Grader Operator.

Applicants must hold a ticket to operate a Grader and possess a Construction Induction Card. Applicants should possess the skills to mix and lay gravel to Main Roads standards, undertake maintenance and associated duties within the operations of Council's Works Department. Final Trim capabilities are highly desirable. Tickets to operate other plant would be an advantage. This position may involve camping out.
